Eastmoreland Garden Room

An avid gardener, this Eastmoreland client had always dreamed of a backyard “room” from which to enjoy the fruits of his labor. Tucked in the back corner of the garden, this space is both open and cozy.It includes a fireplace, natural slate flooring, sound system, and lighting. The client says it’s the perfect way to enjoy the outdoors, even on a rainy day, and far exceeds his expectations.

Knowing that [the front porch] would be the focal point of the house, we wanted only the finest artisans in all of Portland to bring the old porch back to life – this had become a labor of love! My daughter, a landscape architect, researched several local design firms, and after meeting with Wade Freitag, decided that Craftsman Design and Renovation was clearly the one for the job.
