Neo Arts and Crafts

This client and her family with three children had outgrown their house but loved their Council Crest neighborhood and its views. When she hired us to do a remodel and expansion, we took advantage of the Willamette Valley views that the site afforded. We not only changed the orientation of the house, but also took the 1960s split-level and turned it into a Craftsman-style home similar to one in which the client had previously lived. She hired us because she had seen our work on a prior whole house remodel in the neighborhood and saw how we had recast that home in the Craftsman aesthetic. We did the same for her, and with energy efficiency and green materials, pleasantly surprising her with the many new technologies to be found today in period-looking homes.
